Maria Tzanakis Collett is a State Senator for the Pennsylvania State Senate since December 2018, bringing extensive experience in healthcare and education. Prior to this role, Maria served as a Nurse Educator at both Aetna and Genesis HealthCare, and worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Luke's Hospital and Brackenridge Hospital. Academically, Maria holds a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law School, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Drexel University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland College Park.
