Alison Johnson, a Clinical Negligence Partner and Welfare and Culture Partner at Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP since January 2007, has over two decades of experience in clinical negligence law, having specialized since qualifying in 2001. Acknowledged for achieving outstanding settlements in challenging cases, Alison has garnered recognition in 2023 as one of the Top 10 Influential South-Based Clinical Negligence Claimant Lawyers by Business Today. Expertise includes handling complex misdiagnosis cases, particularly in cancer, as well as ophthalmic and gynaecological claims. Alison has held various management training roles and has progressed from Solicitor to Associate Director within the firm. Previous positions include legal roles at Hodge Jones & Allen LLP and Bond Pearce. Alison's educational background consists of a Legal Practice Course from the College of Law, Guildford, and a BSc Hons in Law & German from the University of Surrey.
