Matt Macey has extensive experience in the aerospace sector, particularly in helicopter maintenance and engineering management. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Pennant International Group Plc since July 2012, Matt improved design and manufacturing methods, achieving cost savings exceeding 80%. Previous roles include Lead Project Engineer for the Basic Helicopter Maintenance Trainer (BHMT) project and Aircraft Maintenance Technician for AgustaWestland, where responsibilities encompassed planned maintenance for military helicopters. Matt's background also includes positions as a Merlin AW101 supervisor at Serco, Helicopter Supervisor for the UK Ministry of Defence, and various maintenance roles at QinetiQ and AgustaWestland. Educated through an apprenticeship at AgustaWestland and South Bristol College from 1989 to 1993, Matt has developed a comprehensive skill set in helicopter engineering and project management.
