Adam Simpson is a Digital Media Marketing Specialist at WPSU Penn State, a position held since November 2019. Between October 2016 and October 2019, Adam served as a Program Associate for The Next System Project at The Democracy Collaborative. Prior experience includes roles as a Program Assistant and an intern at the Atlantic Council, where Adam focused on political development and US policy regarding Yemen and the Gulf Cooperation Council. Adam's earlier internships include positions at Americans for Democracy and Human Rights in Bahrain, the American Task Force on Palestine, and the International Rescue Committee. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Middle East Studies from The American University in Cairo and a Bachelor's degree in Jewish, Islamic, and Near Eastern Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
