Emily Drop is an experienced educator with a diverse background spanning various teaching roles across multiple schools. Currently serving as a Classroom Teacher and Instructional Support at Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship since October 2018, Emily previously held positions at Propel Schools as a Second Grade Teacher and in roles focused on reading and math support. Additional experience includes serving as a Reading Recovery teacher at Fox Chapel Area School District and a Fifth Grade Teacher at Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh Charter School. Emily's foundational experience began in early literacy with the Family Literacy Center and as a Reading Intervention Teacher in the Northern Area of Pittsburgh. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Reading from PennWest Edinboro and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Duquesne University.
