Dr. Mortaza Otroshi is a New Product Development Engineer at PROFIL® since February 2023, specializing in research and development. Prior experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Associate at the Laboratorium für Werkstoff- und Fügetechnik (LWF) from November 2017 to January 2023, focusing on FEM Simulation, damage modeling, joining technology, material characterization, and fatigue behavior simulation. Dr. Otroshi completed a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at TU Dortmund University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Automation Systems at Isfahan University of Technology. Additionally, a PhD in Mechanical Engineering was obtained at Paderborn University, where previous academic involvement included a Master Thesis at Hirschvogel Automotive Group on shape optimization in forging processes and a research assistant role at the Institute of Forming Technology and Lightweight Components.
