Matthew Carroll has a diverse background in service learning, education, and spiritual development. Currently serving as the Service Learning Coordinator, Religious Studies Faculty, and Assistant Kairos Director at Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton, since August 2012, Matthew recruits and supervises students for service-learning activities, develops all-school events, and oversees service-immersion programs. In addition, Matthew has been the Site Director at Peninsula Bridge since September 2014, managing a summer program for youth from economically marginalized communities. Previous roles include Resident Minister at the University of San Francisco, Program Coordinator for the Malatesta Program at the Jesuit School of Theology, Case Manager at Homeboy Industries, Volunteer with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, and Teaching Assistant at Boston College. Matthew holds a Master of Divinity in Theology from the Jesuit School of Theology - Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and English from Boston College.
