Richard Ambrosio has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Richard started their career in 2007 as an Assembly Technician at Wave2Wave Solution Corporation, where they built network cable bundles according to customer rack layouts and improved work processes. In 2008, they worked briefly as an Assembly Technician at Intuitive, where they assembled medical instruments used for robotic surgery and participated in process improvement meetings. Later in 2008, they joined Penguin Computing, initially as a Burn Room Technician, where they performed quality assurance and testing on servers and workstations, completed retrofit projects, and set up high profile clusters. Richard then became a Production Scheduler, ensuring production goals were met, reviewing shipment schedules, and implementing a company-wide tracking system. Lastly, they worked as a Cluster Engineer at Penguin Computing, where they deployed and tested high-performance computing clusters, led key projects for major clients, and collaborated with company leadership, vendors, and clients.

Richard Ambrosio's education history includes three main educational experiences.

In 2002-2004, Richard attended ITT Technical Institute in Santa Clara, Ca., where they obtained an Associate's degree in Computer and Electronics Engineering.

In 2015-2016, Richard enrolled in a Cisco Certified Network Associate Prep course at Mission College.

In 2016, Richard also completed a Linux Administration course at Mission College.

In addition to their formal education, Richard obtained a certification in "Introduction to AI in the Data Center" from NVIDIA in January 2020.
