Cassandra Gendron has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple industries. Cassandra currently holds the position of Process Development Research Associate at Pendulum Therapeutics since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Bolt Threads where they served as a Research Associate I from December 2021 to September 2022, and as a Laboratory Technician from August 2021 to December 2021. Before joining Bolt Threads, Cassandra worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Nielsen Lab in the University of California, Berkeley from September 2019 to May 2021. Their earliest work experience was as an Animal Care Intern at Berkeley Humane from January 2019 to May 2019.

Cassandra Gendron attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2017 to 2021. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbial Biology with a specialization in Microbial Biotechnology. In September 2022, Cassandra obtained a certification in Statistical Thinking and Problem Solving from SAS.
