Adam Braun has a diverse work experience that spans both the corporate and non-profit sectors. Adam is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Climate Club, a platform focused on driving sustainability and net-zero outcomes. Prior to this, Adam founded and led Pencils of Promise, a global education organization that has raised approximately $70 million and built nearly 600 schools across Asia, Africa, and Central America. Adam served as the CEO of Pencils of Promise from its inception in 2008 until 2015, and now serves as the Board Chairman. Adam also held roles at WeWork, where they were the COO of WeGrow, and MissionU, a college alternative that they co-founded and served as CEO before its acquisition by WeWork. Additionally, Adam has experience in the global education sector as the Director of the UN Special Envoy's Global Education Platform at the Global Business Coalition for Education. Adam began their career at Bain & Company as a Senior Associate Consultant.
Adam Braun attended Brown University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Adam'sstudies included Economics, Sociology, and Public & Private Sector Organizations. In 2005, they also participated in a program called Semester At Sea / ISE, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this experience.
