Justin Busch has a strong background in natural language processing and technology development. Justin served as the Chief Technical Officer at Peerlyst, where they managed the data architecture, QA and test protocols, and deployment processes. Justin also extended the company's sentiment analysis technology. Prior to that, they founded Step 3 Systems, Inc. and invented natural language processing and reasoning technology for extracting opinions from online articles. At SAIC, they were a computational linguist and played a key role in developing a concept-based search engine and working on a security framework for a project with the US Department of Transportation.
Justin Busch completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics from Claremont McKenna College from 1996 to 1998. Prior to this, they attended Harvey Mudd College from 1994 to 1996 where they pursued Engineering without receiving a degree. Afterwards, Justin went on to obtain their Master of Science degree in Computational Linguistics from the University of Southern California, which they completed from 2000 to 2004.
