Mark Rooney has extensive experience in IT operations and support, currently serving as Head of IT Operations at Peel Ports Group since November 2013, where responsibilities have included managing a team of 2nd line Engineers in a Citrix environment. Prior to this role, Mark worked at Matalan IT from October 2012 to December 2013, providing technical support for retail systems, and at A&E TECH from June 2009 to August 2012, focusing on data network installations for healthcare. Mark's earlier experience includes a seven-year tenure in the Royal Navy as a Sonar and Radar Mechanic, specializing in underwater warfare systems.
