John Bayfield is an experienced marine operations professional with a strong background in vessel operations and harbour management. Currently serving as the Marine Operations Manager and Assistant Harbour Master at Peel Ports Group since December 2015, John has previously held various roles at EastPort UK from September 2006 to December 2015, including Assistant Harbour Master, Port Control Officer, Marine Crewman, and Pilot Boat Coxswain. Earlier in their career, John worked as a Pilot Boat Deckhand at Great Yarmouth Port Authority from March 2003 to September 2006. Educational qualifications include A-Levels in Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Further Maths, and Computing from East Norfolk Sixth Form, completed between 1999 and 2001.
