Kara Kelly is a dedicated speech language pathologist with a background in both clinical practice and research focused on communicative disorders. Currently employed at Pediatric Developmental Services since August 2023, Kara provides remote speech-language services to elementary and middle school students in Maryland, ensuring compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Previous experience includes roles at Buffalo Language Learning Lab as a Research Technician and Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant, where Kara investigated language learning in school-aged children and analyzed the impact of non-mainstream dialects on language disorders. As a Clinical Fellow at Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center, Kara treated a diverse caseload of K-8 students, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.
