Lorin Thomas-Tavel is an experienced leader in the education sector, currently serving as the Managing Director of Virtual Schools at Pearson since February 2023. Previously, Lorin held the role of Managing Director for Boot Camps at 2U from March 2021 to September 2022. Lorin's tenure at Kaplan included positions as Chief Experience Officer and Chief Operating Officer from May 2020 to March 2021 and April 2007 to May 2020, respectively. Additionally, Lorin served as the Chief Administrative Officer during that time. Earlier in a career at Ann Taylor, Inc., Lorin was the Senior Vice President for Human Resources and Strategic Client Relationships from March 2000 to June 2005. Lorin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University.
