Kristin Sardina Araya serves as the Head of Direct to Consumer Product Design (Vice President) at Pearson since August 2020, contributing to the company's mission to democratize education globally. In addition to this role, Kristin has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Stanford University since 2016, where the d. school is recognized for its focus on design thinking. Previously, Kristin held the position of Associate Director of Design at McKinsey & Company from March 2019 to August 2020, where efforts centered around integrating product strategy into consulting services. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Shutterfly, Inc., where Kristin was the fastest promoted and youngest Director in the Product Team's history and served as an Interaction Designer at Expedia Group. Kristin's extensive background also includes positions in architectural design and freelance work as a floral designer. Kristin holds a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia.
