Barbara Barker has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Barbara started their career in 1986 as a Product Manager at Columbia Lighting and worked there until 1996. Barbara then joined DEI Electrical Consultants as a Lighting Consultant and stayed with the company until 2012. From 2012 to 2017, Barbara worked at Trindera Engineering as a Principal and also served as a Lighting Consultant. Following that, they joined the City of Liberty Lake, WA and worked in Planning and Building Services from 2017 to 2020. Barbara then moved on to Custom Fabrication Design, where they worked as an Operations Manager from 2020 to 2022, before being promoted to General Manager until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Project Management at Pearson Packaging Systems.

Barbara Barker completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Colorado State University from 1981 to 1983. Barbara then pursued their studies in Architectural Engineering and received their Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado Boulder between 1983 and 1985.
