Azad Camyab has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Azad served as a Fellow for the Masters in Sustainability Leadership & Laing O'Rourke Centre for Construction Management at the University of Cambridge starting in 2011. In 2015, they founded Pearlstone Energy, a Demand Response Aggregator that offers UK businesses various demand response products. Azad also held the position of Visiting Senior Teaching Fellow at the University of Portsmouth in 2005. Additionally, Azad Camyab has acted as a Member of the Executive Advisory Board for Enlit Europe since 2012. Prior to these roles, they worked as Director of Greener Energy at KEMA from 2009 to 2011, and as General Manager - Head of European Business Development at Energy Developments (UK) Limited from 2006 to 2009. Azad has also held senior advisory and business development positions at Mitsubishi Corporation - Investments, Aquila Energy Europe, Sithe Energies, and National Power/International Power.
Azad Camyab obtained a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Imperial College London between the years 1986 and 1990. Later, between 1996 and 1998, they pursued an MBA specializing in Strategy and Finance from Bristol Business School.
