Phil Mulligan is an experienced leader in environmental and conservation organizations, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Peak District National Park since September 2022. Previously held positions include Director for the East Midlands at the Canal & River Trust and Council Member at the National Trust. Phil's extensive governance experience also encompasses roles on the Board of Trustees for The Conservation Volunteers and as CEO of The Landscape Institute. Additional leadership roles include Executive Director at the United Nations Association UK and CEO of Environmental Protection UK. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Cambridge, a Master's Degree in Environment, Policy and Development, and an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Sussex, along with further education at Plumpton College.
