Mehdi Yahyanejad is a seasoned researcher and entrepreneur with extensive experience in technology and bioinformatics. Currently serving as a Researcher at the Information Sciences Institute at the University of Southern California since February 2012, Mehdi also co-founded and holds the position of Chief Data Scientist at Peachscore, a company that assists startups in obtaining venture capital funding. As the co-founder and former Executive Director of NetFreedom Pioneers, Mehdi led initiatives to deliver digital content over satellite to combat internet censorship. Previous roles include Founder and CEO of Balatarin and Co-Founder and CEO of Adoptic, Inc. Mehdi's academic background includes a PhD in Physics with a focus on Bioinformatics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, alongside postdoctoral studies at Stanford University.
