Shannon McBride has extensive experience with the Peace Corps, currently serving as a Senior Regional Recruiter since 2013, focusing on the Northeast region that includes Queens, The Bronx, Long Island, and Southern Connecticut. Previously, Shannon worked as a Recruiter and served as a Primary Education Teacher Trainer in Uganda from 2010 to 2012. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Theatre from Albright College, which was obtained between 2003 and 2007.
