Virry Schaafsma is an experienced professional in the field of advocacy and program management, currently serving as a Programme Manager at Peace Brigades International since January 2020. Prior roles within the organization include Advocacy Coordinator and Field Volunteer, with tenure spanning from October 2014 to June 2019. Additionally, Virry worked as a Quality Advisor for Gemeente Amsterdam from 2012 to 2014. Virry holds a Master of Science in Social Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Science in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Utrecht.
