John Tushingham-Lacey has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. John began their career as a Marine Claims Technician at Lowndes Lambert Insurance Brokers in 1990, and later worked as an Insurance Clerk at Brunsdon Westinsure. In 1998, they transitioned into the IT industry and joined Fujitsu as an IT Support Analyst, eventually becoming a Reporting Team Leader and Service Desk Manager. In 2006, John joined Nationwide Building Society as a Business Analyst, where they also served as a Senior Business Analyst and Procurement Project Specialist/Analyst, managing 3rd party management and implementing frameworks. In 2016, they joined T-Systems UK as a Governance Manager, responsible for the technical delivery quality management framework. From 2018 to 2023, John worked at Hyperoptic Ltd. as the Head of Business Continuity and Risk, overseeing risk assessment, management, and reporting, as well as reviewing internal policies and procedures. John then briefly worked as a Foster Carer at Five Rivers in 2019 before joining Peabody in 2023 as a Business Continuity Lead. Currently, they are actively searching for new opportunities.

John Tushingham-Lacey has a diverse education history. John holds a Lean six sigma yellow belt from the University of Bath, a Foundation certificate in service management (ITIL V3) from QA Training, a Prince 2 Practitioner degree in Prince 2 from Axelos, a Certificate in Business Analysis from ISEB, and a Certificate in Business process modeling from ISEB. In addition, John has an NVQ level 3 in Supporting users of IT from Edexel and completed coursework in German at New College Swindon. John also has a Btec in Sports coaching from Newcastle University and a Certificate in Wine Steward/Sommelier from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Recently, they obtained certificates in Iso 22301:2019 business continuity management and Iso 27001:2022 Information Security System from Udemy, as well as Safeguarding training from NSPCC. John is also a certified Foster carer through Five Rivers and has completed courses in Business Requirements Engineering and Process Engineering from ISEB.
