Taryn J. Brotherton is an experienced law enforcement professional with a diverse background in various roles within the Peabody Police Department since July 2014, including Sergeant and Detective, along with significant involvement in specialized units such as the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Prior to this, Taryn served as a Police Officer at the Ipswich Police Department and held positions as a Correctional Officer at two facilities under the Essex County Sheriff's Department. Taryn's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and ongoing pursuit of a Master's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Taryn is certified in multiple areas, including field training, domestic violence investigations, undercover operations, and youth outreach programs, demonstrating a strong commitment to community safety and crime prevention.
