Miguel Madrigal has extensive experience in corporate development and project management within the coal industry, currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Development, M&A, and Project Development at Peabody Energy since November 2006. Responsibilities include overseeing mergers and acquisitions in Australia, managing significant organic projects, and leading negotiations in various high-value transactions, such as the sale of Wotonga coal project and joint ventures. Prior roles included General Manager of Venezuelan Operations at both Peabody and Excel Coal, where Miguel managed investments and operations in Venezuela's coal sector. Before these roles, experience included positions at RFC Group Limited, Overseas Coal, and Accenture, focusing on financial modeling and project management. Miguel holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from UCAB.
