Brent Bettis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in information security and digital strategy, currently serving as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Peabody Energy since December 2014. Prior to this role, Brent held various positions including Healthcare Administrator in the United States Air Force Reserve from 2000 to April 2020, Director of Infrastructure & Security Services at Laclede Gas Company from April 2012 to December 2014, and Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton from January 2008 to April 2012. Early career experience includes serving as a Systems Engineer in the Air Force from November 2000 to September 2004. Brent Bettis holds a Master of Art in Information Management from Webster University, a Master of Science in Engineering Management from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, along with education from SANS.
