Matthew Jones has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Matthew began their career in 2003 with the Ohio National Guard, where they served as a Material Management specialist. In this role, Matthew was responsible for procuring and distributing mechanical parts, uniforms, and arms to members of an air control squadron. Matthew fulfilled this duty until April 2014.
Following their time with the Ohio National Guard, Matthew joined DNA Diagnostics Center in March 2014 as a Data Analyst. Matthew held this position for six years, bringing their tenure to an end in April 2020.
Most recently, Matthew has worked at PCI Pharma Services, starting in September 2021. Matthew initially served as a Materials Management Specialist, managing the receipt of clinical trial drug material and fulfilling order requests for shipment within the United States. In February 2022, they transitioned to the role of International Shipping and Receiving Coordinator. In this role, Matthew managed exports of clinical trial drug material for several clients, facilitating successful deliveries to various countries. Currently, they hold the position of Trade Compliance Specialist at PCI Pharma Services, where they provide advice for the export of clinical trial material and facilitates the importation of clinical trial drug materials into the United States.
Matthew Jones completed their education with a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Geochemistry from the University of Cincinnati, which they obtained from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Geology from the same university, completing it between 2004 and 2010. Matthew also holds an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Community College of the Air Force, which they earned from 2003 to 2014.
