Nicholas Benavides is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in power electronics and engineering leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Lead Engineer at PC Krause and Associates since June 2013, Nicholas specializes in quick-turn prototyping services for specialized power converters in the Mil-Aero sector. Previous roles include Global Services Engineering Executive at GE Energy Management, where Nicholas directed over 100 engineers across seven countries, and Chief Engineer at GE Energy Power Conversion, responsible for developing medium-voltage inverters and overseeing a $5 million annual budget. Nicholas’s academic background includes a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as a BS from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
