Nelson Bermudez currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and EVP at PBS Biotech, Inc., overseeing company operations and managing Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, and Program Management functions since September 2020. Prior to this role, Nelson held various leadership positions at Amgen from March 1992 to September 2020, including Executive Director of External Manufacturing & Supply and Executive Director Global Operations, where responsibilities included managing global manufacturing operations and distribution for key products yielding approximately $6 billion in annual sales. Nelson also contributed to major capital projects and operational enhancements at both Amgen and Fluor Corporation, where extensive engineering roles were undertaken. Nelson Bermudez earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
