Breanna Borys is a highly experienced Sr Bioprocess Engineer/Scientist at PBS Biotech since January 2020, specializing in large-scale production and differentiation of pluripotent stem cells. Borys possesses extensive knowledge in the development of robust bioprocesses for various cell types using both small and large-scale bioreactors. Previous roles include Bioprocess Engineer/Scientist and Biomedical Engineering Researcher, with significant contributions to protocol optimization and experimental execution at the Pharmaceutical Production Research Facility. Borys also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Schulich School of Engineering, mentoring students in various biomedical engineering courses. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering with a Biomedical Engineering specialization from the University of Calgary.
