Cissa Madero is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Communications for Pearland Independent School District since August 2018, having previously held the position of Communications Specialist. Prior experience includes roles at the YMCA of Greater Houston as Cause Marketing Director and Development Marketing and Communications Manager from November 2014 to August 2018, and at the Adult Reading Center as Events and Communications Coordinator from October 2013 to April 2015, where Cissa excelled in event planning and communications. Additional experience includes marketing internships at Texas Health Institute and YMCA of Austin, and a foundation in media production at CEDECOM. Cissa holds a degree in Social Communication, Journalism from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and attended The University of Texas at Austin for additional studies.
