Amanda Lefley has a diverse work experience. Amanda started their career as a Game Reporter for Bison Sports in 2009 before moving on to roles such as a Media Centre Shotlister for APTN and a Communications Intern at True North Sports and Entertainment in 2010. In 2011, they worked as a Reporter/Photographer for Stonewall Argus and later became the Multimedia Editor of Selkirk Journal at Interlake Publishing in 2014. Amanda also worked as an Editor of Write On! Magazine at Literacy Partners of Manitoba in 2014-2015. Amanda then became a Freelance Journalist at Del Communications from 2014 to 2019. In 2016, Amanda joined Payworks Payroll Services Canada as a PR & Communications Assistant. Over the years, they transitioned to roles such as Social Media & Content Coordinator and is currently working as a Social Media & Content Specialist, starting in May 2022. In 2018, they also had a role as a Beta Reader for Sagas & Sea Smoke, providing feedback for the fiction novel before its publication.
Amanda Lefley attended The University of Winnipeg from 2006 to 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor of Communications in Joint Communications. In addition, they enrolled at Red River College from 2008 to 2010, specializing in Journalism as part of their Creative Communications degree.
