Ashish Kalani has a diverse work experience in various companies. Ashish started their career with a summer internship at People Interactive in 2007. Ashish then worked as an Executive Brand Communication at DDB India (Mudra communications) from 2008 to 2010. After that, they joined Hansa Customer Equity Pvt Ltd. as an Account Manager, where they oversaw the conceptualization and implementation of lead and call center management systems for Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd. Ashish also designed and implemented campaign frameworks for Birla Sunlife Mutual Fund.
In 2012, Ashish joined HDFC Bank as a Deputy Manager, where they were responsible for designing and implementing a customer lifecycle management framework for debit cards and ATMs. Ashish successfully drove an increase in debit card spends by 39% in less than two months and developed customer engagement programs to drive higher spending.
Later in 2012, they moved to Hansa Cequity as a Group Account Manager, specifically working on campaign management and driving segmented communications for Axis Bank, managing a significant budget and a team.
In 2015, Ashish joined HDFC Life as a Marketing Manager, where they focused on managing campaigns, driving lead generation, and increasing customer engagement.
Ashish then joined Axis Bank as an Assistant Vice President, responsible for driving engagement and business impact of the Axis edge Rewards Program. Their achievements include designing and implementing campaign frameworks to increase redemption and program earn activity, as well as launching new marketing channels, products, and website frameworks.
Most recently, in 2022, Ashish joined Tata AIA Life Insurance as an Innovation Lead, working on leading innovation initiatives within the organization.
Currently, Ashish holds the role of Growth Lead for the ETB (Existing to Bank) and NTB (New to Bank) portfolios at Paytm Payments Bank, starting in 2023.
Ashish Kalani has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Lala Lajpatrai Academy of Management, with a major in Marketing and a minor in Finance (2006-2008). Ashish also has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from MMK, specializing in economics, quantitative methods, and organizational behavior (2001-2006). Ashish attended St. Xavier's High School for their secondary education (1988-2001). In terms of additional certifications, they have completed a Certificate of Completion in Social Media Marketing: Managing Online Communities from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy. Ashish has also obtained numerous certifications in various areas of strategic thinking, marketing, communication, and social media marketing from LinkedIn, with the most recent obtained in 2023.
