Shawn Tugwell is an experienced data center professional with a strong background in engineering and design. Currently serving as Director of Data Center Design & Engineering at PayPal since April 2016, Shawn has previously held various engineering roles at eBay from April 2010 to April 2016, focusing on the design and construction of data center white space. Prior experience includes positions at Qwest Communications as Staff Data Center Engineer, Equinix as Site Engineer, and Global Integration as Field Engineer. Shawn also served in the United States Marine Corps from November 1990 to November 1994. Educational background includes studies at the Colorado School of Trades.
