Dan Ayash is an accomplished cybersecurity executive with extensive experience in threat detection, threat intelligence, and cyber operations. Currently serving as Director of Cyber Threat Detection at PayPal since May 2020, Dan oversees multiple teams focused on identifying and mitigating cyber threats while conducting in-depth research and developing automated workflows. Previously, Dan held various roles at PayPal, including Senior Manager of Global Security Operations Center and Head of Global Security Operations Center & Insider Threat, where strategic management of security incidents and operations was paramount. Dan's expertise also extends to previous positions at WE Ankor and SECOZ, focusing on SIEM integration and enhancing security processes. Dan is an alumnus of the Israeli Naval Academy.
