Ariel Irby is a design professional with extensive experience in leading design teams and delivering strategic solutions for digital experiences. Currently serving as Design Lead at PayPal since September 2024, Ariel previously held the same title at BASIC/DEPT® from May 2021 to May 2024, where leadership encompassed a diverse group of designers, strategists, copywriters, and developers for notable clients including AT&T, Meta, and Google. Prior roles include Senior Designer at Wondersauce, Senior Graphic Designer at Another (formerly Matte Black) and IN GOOD CO, and positions at Anese and the University of Southern California. Ariel Irby holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Southern California.
