Mary Joyce Orevillo has a diverse work experience in various roles in the IT industry. Mary Joyce started their career in 2014 as a Software Test Engineer at One Kenway Solution, where they worked until 2015. Following this, they joined Optum as a QA Analyst, where they stayed until 2017. In 2017, Mary Joyce joined Accenture as a Senior Test Engineer for a brief period. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as a Software QA Engineer at Flexisource IT. Currently, they are employed as an Automation Engineer at PayAsia.

Mary Joyce Orevillo completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Adamson University from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications from CertiProf. In August 2020, they completed the Lifelong Learning certification and the Scrum Foundation Certificate. Then, in November 2020, they obtained the Kanban Foundation KIKF certification.
