Ian Roper is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in data engineering and technical support. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Pay360 by Capita since September 2016, Ian has previously held various roles, including Technical Support Team Lead and Application Support Engineer. Prior to joining Pay360, Ian worked at Easynet Group from 1999 to August 2016, managing applications and desktop support teams across multiple countries, and overseeing financial systems projects as a Financial IS Project Manager. Ian also contributed as an IS Development Team Leader and DBA, as well as an IS Developer and Oracle DBA. Earlier experience includes serving as a QA Developer at Transoft Ltd from 1996 to 1999. Ian holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing & Informatics from the University of Plymouth, completed in 1996.
