Jeffrey Jiang is a highly skilled data infrastructure specialist and visiting scientist at the Pawsey Supercomputing Centre, with extensive experience in designing and planning hardware and software configurations to support the Australian research community. With a background at IBM as a solution test lead for GPFS, Jeffrey developed expertise in large-scale information architecture and customer engagement while managing a test team and improving deployment procedures. Previous roles include solution architect at Softtek, where Jeffrey designed system infrastructure, and data center technical manager at Prosten, overseeing a team to maintain production systems. Earlier experience encompasses work as a software/system engineer at the National Network Management Lab, where Jeffrey was involved in the development of a significant network management system project. Jeffrey holds a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Computing from Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics.
