Christian Arno has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 1998, they served as the Captain of the St. John's College Tennis team, where they coordinated the team and played alongside notable individuals. The following year, from 1999 to 2000, they assumed the role of Captain for the St. John's College Hockey team.
In 2001, Christian founded and became the CEO of Lingo24, a trusted language translation partner for mid to large companies. Under their leadership, Lingo24 developed its own computer-assisted translation software and incorporated AI technology into translation workflows. The company had a global presence with over 200 staff members in various locations and a substantial US business. Christian held this role until December 2021.
Christian Arno is currently the Founder and CEO of Pawprint since May 2019. At Pawprint, they are focused on building a global movement that promotes sustainability. The company offers a mobile and desktop app for employees, as well as a business dashboard for Heads of Sustainability, CFOs, and People Leaders. By providing data insights and analytics, including benchmarking with peers on science-based targets, Pawprint aims to accelerate the contribution individuals can make to their climate and business goals.
Additionally, Christian is an Angel Investor at Ventures Together, starting from January 2022.
Christian Arno attended Robert Gordon's College in Aberdeen from 1988 to 1996. Christian then pursued their higher education at the University of Oxford, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages (French and Italian) with honors (MA Hons) from 1997 to 2001.
