Julian Geiger, PhD, is currently a Postdoc/Research Software Engineer in the Materials Software and Data group at the Paul Scherrer Institut PSI since February 2024. Julian completed doctoral research at ICIQ from October 2019 to October 2023 and held a Master Thesis Project at BASF from June 2018 to November 2018, focusing on computational chemistry related to structure generation for reaction networks. Julian obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the Institut Català d'Investigació Química and holds two Master of Science degrees in Chemistry from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. Further education includes a tenure at the University of Cambridge's Yusuf Hamied Department of Chemistry in 2017-2018.
