Sarah Slane is an experienced educator currently serving as the ELA Department Leader and Language Arts Teacher at Pattonville School District since July 2018. In this role, Sarah designed and piloted a personalized learning academy model for middle school students and collaborated with colleagues to develop competency-based learning targets aligned with Missouri Learning Standards. Previous experience includes a student teaching role at Mehlville School District, where Sarah instructed various English courses and supported students with special accommodations. Additionally, Sarah held positions at Truman State University as an Administrative Intern and a Student Affairs Student Worker, focusing on student conduct and support initiatives. Sarah possesses a Master's degree in Secondary Education and a Bachelor's degree in English from Truman State University.
