Melinda Shumway has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Melinda is currently employed at Pattern® as an Accounting Manager since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Accountant at Pattern® from October 2019 to August 2021, and as an Accounting Clerk at Pattern® from April 2019 to October 2019.

Before joining Pattern®, Melinda worked as a Structural Integration Practitioner at Body Design Massage from August 2013 to March 2020. Melinda also served as a Compensation Program Manager at Apollo Group from March 2010 to April 2013.

Melinda has extensive experience in financial reporting and accounting. Melinda worked at Apollo Group as a Financial Reporting Manager, where they managed equity accounting, including stock options and restricted stock units, drafted financial statement disclosures, and oversaw the production of the company's 14C Information Statement. Melinda held this role from August 2008 to January 2010. Prior to this, they worked as a Financial Reporting Manager at Apollo Group from December 2006 to August 2008.

In their earlier career, Melinda worked as a Consultant at Ajilon Consulting for a brief period in 2006. Melinda also served as a Senior Financial Analyst at Ryland Homes from January 2005 to July 2006.

Melinda started their career as an Auditor at KPMG LLP, first in San Francisco from 2001 to 2002, and later in Phoenix from 2003 to 2005.

Melinda Shumway began their education in 1992 at Brigham Young University, where they pursued a Master of Accounting degree. Melinda completed this degree in 2001. In 2013, Melinda attended the Utah College of Massage Therapy Inc-Utah Valley, where they earned a degree as a Professional Massage Therapist, specializing in Massage Therapy/Therapeutic Massage. In 2015, Melinda attended the Guild for Structural Integration, where they obtained a certification in Structural Integration.
