Donnisha Spruill has a diverse range of work experience. Donnisha worked as a Total Rewards Manager at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), where they oversaw the Total Rewards, HR Systems, and Payroll functions. Prior to that, they were an Employee Benefits Manager at the Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP), where they analyzed, designed, and administered employee benefits programs. Donnisha also served as a Human Resources Coordinator / Payroll Administrator at Bank of Georgetown, assisting with recruitment, maintaining employee records, and processing payroll. Additionally, Donnisha was a Payroll Team Lead at CACI International Inc, where they led a team in providing accurate and timely payroll services to various branches of the US federal government.

Donnisha Spruill earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics from Virginia Union University, completing their studies from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2019, they obtained the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) certification from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP). In 2015, they earned the SHRM Certified Professional certification from SHRM. In 2013, they obtained the Professional of Human Resources Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Furthermore, they attained the Certified Payroll Professional Certification from the American Payroll Association in April 2012, and obtained the Certified Payroll Professional designation twice in June 2012 through the same institution.
