Karen Denise Ayers, LPC, is a seasoned Licensed Professional Counselor and the owner of Broken Branches Counseling, LLC, since August 2019. In addition to this role, Karen has been providing counseling services at Pathways Transition Programs, Inc. since January 2019. Previous experience includes a counseling internship at Rainbow Connection Child Advocacy & Assessment Center, where psychological assessments were administered, and at the Sunlife Institute, where treatment plans were developed for clients with various psychological disorders. Prior to a career in counseling, Karen was a Learning and Development Specialist at Wells Fargo, notable for enhancing team member retention and improving training processes. Karen holds a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Spelman College.
