Irene Rowley has a diverse work experience spanning over more than two decades in graphic design, web development, and digital marketing. Irene began their career as a Graphic Designer at NAVAJO Company in 1993, where they worked until 1994. Irene then worked at Aquent (formerly known as MacTemps) from 1994 to 1999, undertaking graphic design assignments for various corporations in the Bay Area and North Bay.
Afterwards, Rowley joined Sola Optical in 1996, serving as a Graphic Designer until 2001. Their role involved designing and producing marketing materials such as brochures, sales fliers, and point-of-sale items. Irene led a small team of artists during their time there.
In 2002, Rowley worked as an Assistant to the President at KABA Audio for a year. Following this, they spent five years from 2003 to 2008 at MHN Services, where they held the position of Contracts Administrator. Their responsibilities included administering and producing contracts for EAP and managed care services, as well as reviewing RFPs.
In 2008, Rowley worked briefly as a Public Relations Assistant at Becoming Independent before joining Sonoma Mountain Business Cluster in 2009 as a Web Designer Intern. Their role involved designing and developing the organization's website, expanding its online presence, and promoting the community. Irene left the position in December 2009.
Simultaneously, in 2009, Rowley established Rowley Designs, their own business, where they served as the Owner. Through Rowley Designs, they worked with clients to design and code websites using HTML, CSS, PHP, WordPress, and Dreamweaver. Irene also handled tasks such as website validation, content development for SEO, and designing various marketing materials. Additionally, they owned, designed, and managed content for ArtistSonoma.com.
In 2011, Rowley joined O'Reilly Media as a Production Graphic Designer until 2013. Their role primarily involved designing and producing web banner ads, video bumpers, signage for shows and conferences, and brochures using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Irene was also responsible for maintaining the organization's database of book cover illustrations.
Rowley later joined PathSolutions in 2018 as a Website Developer and Marketing Consultant. Irene designed, programmed, and coded the company's website, blog, and landing pages, and was involved in converting the site from WordPress to Hubspot. Irene also developed modules and templates, and integrated them with HubDB. In March 2020, they transitioned to the role of Digital Marketing Manager at PathSolutions, where they designed and coded the company website and landing pages on the Hubspot platform. Irene also managed the website and ensured it complied with W3C standards, in addition to handling weekly social media postings.
Irene Rowley has obtained a Bachelor's degree in Fine/Studio Arts and English from the University of California, Davis. In 2015-2016, they attended Santa Rosa Junior College, where they received a Web Programmer Certificate specializing in Website Development, Design, and Coding. Irene also holds additional certifications including a Google Ads Search Certification from Skillshop and certifications in Adobe InDesign and Website Programmer from Santa Rosa Junior College. The obtained month and year for Adobe InDesign and Website Programmer are not provided.
