Liz Nohra has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to strategic partnerships, donor and community relations, external relations, events and development management, and executive leadership. Their most recent role was as the Sr. Director of Strategic Partnerships at PathForward. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Donor and Community Relations at Phoenix House Mid-Atlantic. From 2010 to 2020, Liz served as the Chief of External Relations and Acting President & CEO at the Leadership Center for Excellence. Liz also has experience as an Events and Development Manager at Leadership Fairfax, Inc. and as the Executive Director at the Children's Museum of the Valley. Liz began their career as the Manager of Education and External Relations at the Mahoning Valley Historical Society. Liz holds a graduate degree in History Museum Studies from the Cooperstown Graduate Program.
Liz Nohra has a diverse education history. Liz obtained a Master of Arts degree in Museum Studies with a specialization in Cooperstown Graduate Program from SUNY Oneonta, starting in 1966 and finishing in 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Youngstown State University, which they attended from 1991 to 1996. Their high school education was completed at Ursuline High School, where they earned a Diploma between 1988 and 1991. Additionally, Liz Nohra obtained a certification in Everything DiSC Workplace® from Everything DiSC: A Wiley Brand in December 2018.
