Cathy Arney has a strong background in mental health services. Cathy began their career as a Therapist at Marquette University-Counseling Center in 1990 and worked there until 1993. Following this, they established their own practice as the Owner & Clinician at Kano Psychotherapy from 1994 to 2008. Later on, they joined Pathfinders Milwaukee in 1997 and currently serves as the Vice President of Community Services. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing various programs, such as Prevention Education, the Hand-in-Hand Treatment Program for Sexually Abused Children, and Human Trafficking activities.
Cathy Arney completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Elementary Education and Teaching at Arizona State University from 1973 to 1975. Following that, they pursued their Master of Social Work (MSW) specializing in Family Therapy at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 1983 to 1984.
