Crystal Lander has a diverse work experience in the field of advocacy, policy, and communications. Crystal served as the Chief Strategic Engagement Officer at Pathfinder International since October 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Executive Director Global Affairs at Pathfinder International and Director of Advocacy at Living Goods. Crystal also worked as the Senior Director of Policy, Advocacy and Communications at Management Sciences for Health, Senior Advocacy Advisor at Centre for Development and Population Activities, Campus Program Director at the Feminist Majority Foundation, and Manager of Community Action and Website at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Throughout their career, Crystal has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to promoting global health issues and women's rights.
Crystal Lander obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Michigan in 1997. Crystal then went on to earn a Master's Degree in International Public Health & Health Policy from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in 1999. Currently, Crystal is a doctoral candidate at Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health, specializing in International Public Health/International Health. Crystal also holds a certification in Group Management.
