Zuraya Aziz, CHRC, CIP, CHPC, serves as the Research Protections Manager at PATH since November 2023, focusing on ensuring ethical and scientific integrity in research practices. Prior experience includes being the Associate Director of Compliance at the Institute for Systems Biology from July 2017 to October 2023, providing guidance on human subjects research and conflict of interest matters. At Seattle Children's Research Institute, from 2008 to July 2017, Zuraya held various roles, including Research Compliance Analyst, where responsibilities included audits and risk assessments of research compliance, and Research Subject Advocate, which involved developing policies on informed consent and training staff. Additionally, as Supervisor of the Patient Navigator Program, Zuraya managed operations to enhance care for vulnerable populations. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at El Paso.
